Who we are

This policy explains how Regattos Naas (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you use this website and order from us. We are the controller of that information.

This website runs on YoFood, an online ordering platform. YoFood stores and processes your information on our behalf, only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement with us.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we collect:

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
• Delivery details: the addresses you give us, and any you save to your account.
• Order details: what you ordered, when, what you paid, how you paid and any notes you add.
• Account details: if you create an account, your sign-in details. Your password is stored in a form nobody, including us, can read.
• Loyalty points you earn and spend, where we run a loyalty scheme.
• Payment details: card and online payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that you paid, never your full card number.
• Marketing choices: whether you agreed to hear from us, the wording you agreed to and when.
• Technical details: your IP address and browser information, recorded in server logs to keep the site secure and working.

Health information in your notes

If you tell us about an allergy or dietary need in your order notes, that may reveal information about your health. We use it only to prepare your order safely, and only because you chose to give it to us.

How we use it, and why

We use your information:

• To take, prepare, deliver and support your order and to send you messages about it, because we need to in order to fulfil our contract with you.
• To run your account and loyalty points, for the same reason.
• To send you offers and news by email or text, only if you have agreed and only until you withdraw that consent.
• To prevent fraud, keep the site secure, deal with complaints and improve our service, in our legitimate interests.
• To keep accounting and tax records, because the law requires it.

Marketing

We send offers and news only if you tick the box at checkout or otherwise agree. Every message tells you how to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to stop at any time. Your consent is to Regattos Naas alone: it does not sign you up to YoFood or to any other business on it.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with:

• YoFood, which runs this website and our ordering system.
• Our payment provider, to take your payment.
• Our delivery drivers, who see your name, address, phone number and order so they can deliver it.
• Services that send emails and text messages for us, such as your order confirmation.
• Our professional advisers, and the authorities when the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of our service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. When they do, it is protected by safeguards the law recognises, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it:

• Order and payment records: six years, as Irish tax law requires.
• Your account and saved addresses: until you ask us to close your account.
• Marketing choices: while we contact you, and for a period afterwards so we can show what you agreed to or opted out of.
• Server logs: for a short period, then deleted.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the site needs to work, and set no advertising or analytics cookies:

• A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in to your account.
• A cookie that remembers which of our restaurants you last visited.
• Your basket, kept in your browser’s storage so it survives a page reload.

Because these are strictly necessary for the site to work, they do not need your consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.

Security

Your information is sent over encrypted connections and stored on secured servers, with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your account password private.

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top.
